I like to say that I never watch TV. While this is a true statement, the reality is that I do consume a ton of video content on my 26” monitors and 55” TV, much of it from YouTube. I am a YouTube Red subscriber and since I hate advertisements, I think I’m getting my money’s worth.
Now of all the types of videos that I do watch, I have to say I’ve never binge-watched a video channel or type like I have with Big Dog Forge. During one lazy couch day this past Christmas, I saw a preview for one of his videos on forging Damascus steel out of a steel cable. I had to click on it because, and you can call me weird, but for years I had an idea to melt down old motorcycle chains and see if someone could make Damascus steel out of that. Using steel cable isn’t too far removed of an idea, so of course I watched it and got hooked.
About three videos in, I nearly fell off the couch! HE’S DONE IT!
I lost track of time but I know I laid eyes on each video; some at high speed but many of them in real time.
Yeah, you can call me weird but I and 38k other subscribers are hooked.
